Version 2.0 - December 26, 2018

  • Ported to Game Maker Studio 1.4, should now run on Windows 8 & 10.
  • Brand new OGG-format OST (good-bye midis).
  • Proper saving (no more GM default savestates).
  • Lives restored up to 3 and all weapons refill between Wily levels and on stage select now.
  • Game now saves Wily Stage progress.
  • Camera properly centers on Mega Man now.
  • Mega Buster bullets travel faster.
  • Tweaked some weapon ammo consumption
  • Shielding enemies lower guard more frequently.
  • Enemies do more collision damage (less viable to tank every enemy).
  • Enemy item drop rate down from 50% to 25%.
  • You can now select empty weapons on the pause screen.
  • Some weapons now pierce shields.
  • Various minor level design fixes (I kept most of it the same, only addressed the really scrappy stuff).
  • Long-track moving platforms now wait for you at the beginning of the track.
  • Moving platform tracks and their endpoints are now marked.
  • Minor changes to some robot master timing and AI:
    • Reduced frequency of Music Man's attack.
    • Added flag to ensure Jet Man will not randomly decide to only attack with rockets.
    • Decreased Shield Man fire rate and ammo count per attack.
    • Weakness weapon now pierces Shield Man's shield.
    • Wily bosses now susceptible to some weapons even while invulnerable.
    • Boss weaknesses (mostly number of effective weapons) tweaked.
  • Fixed boss bar-fill animation.
