Ultimate Megaman, first released on some long-defunct fan game archive in 2005, somehow gained enough traction that I started getting questions about it over a decade later. As a result, I originally brought it back on the S&S forum in 2015. The game later got a proper update so it could run properly on current versions of Windows on Christmas of 2018.

Ultimate Megaman is a simple project. Kid-me liked Mega Man so I made (several) Mega Man and Mega Man-like games. I guess some things never change. Ultimate Megaman is a culmination of quite a few attempts to make a proper Mega Man fan game. I guess at the time I thought "Nope, it won't get any better than this." and submitted it to some web site for the world to see.

To this day I still get the odd email about this somehow memorable game.
